Cookie Policy

This policy explains the limited use of cookies and similar technologies on lawyer.com.cy. We have designed the site so that optional analytics remains completely inactive until you choose to accept it.

Who is responsible?

Christophi & Associates LLC (the “Firm”, “we”, “us”) is responsible for this website and is the controller of personal data collected through it. Our registered office is at Chapo Central, 20 Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue, Office 201, 1075 Nicosia, Cyprus. You can contact us at office@lawyer.com.cy or +357 22 456 250.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. Some cookies are essential to provide a service or remember a choice. Others, including analytics cookies, are optional and require your consent.

Google Analytics

If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate website use—for example, visited page paths, approximate location, browser and device type, and session statistics. Our page-view integration removes URL search parameters and does not send form contents, names, email addresses or telephone numbers to Analytics. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled.

Google Analytics is supplied by Google. Google states that GA4 uses IP addresses at collection time to derive location and then discards them before data is logged. Information may nevertheless be processed by Google group companies and service providers outside the European Economic Area, subject to the safeguards described in Google’s terms and privacy documentation. See Google Business Data Responsibility and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Our legal basis for Analytics is your consent. Refusing it has no effect on access to the website. Because the Google script is not loaded before consent, no analytics request or cookieless measurement ping is sent when you reject or have not yet chosen.

Website assets and third-party links

Site fonts are served locally. Photographs and media under our control are delivered through our own website address from our contracted storage provider. Public media items link to third-party websites such as YouTube rather than embedding their players; those providers receive data only if you choose to follow the link, under their own policies.

How to change or withdraw your choice

Select Cookie settings in the footer at any time. Withdrawal is as easy as acceptance: Analytics is disabled immediately and accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site are deleted. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the site from remembering your choice or administrators from signing in.

Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. Contact us using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our cookies, providers or purposes change. If a change materially affects consent, the website will ask you to choose again.
